The Sign and Lock feature has been rolled out to all workspaces. If you are a solo practitioner without a supervisor set up, there is nothing to worry about. When you sign and lock a note, it is finalised immediately with no review required, so it will not hold up your workflow.
Here is a quick rundown of how notes work with the new update:
When you are writing a note, it autosaves as a draft automatically, which is why there is no Save button. If you close the note window, it will be saved under the client's Documentation tab and you can go back and edit it at any time by clicking the Edit button.
When you are ready to finalise it, click Sign and Lock to publish it. If you ever need to make changes after locking, you can still do so as an admin. Simply go to the document, click View, then click the Locked button and follow the prompt to unlock it.
To update your signature, open a note and click on your signature. A pencil icon will appear — click it to make changes.
