Sending documents and notes to clients

How do I send the forms and documents to my client?

Paperless form and note sharing enables you to send information to be viewed or completed by your clients.

In this guide, we’ll cover:


Send a note for the first time

Once you have created a client, you can send them a note. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the Client page

  2. Go into the Client Record

  3. Select the Create Note button on the upper right corner

  4. Write the note you would like to share.

  5. Click the Share button in the upper right concern of the note modal

  6. Select the recipient from the drop-down

  7. Review and adjust note access type (viewer, editor or responder)

  8. Click the Send button


Send form or template for the first time

Once you have created a client, you can send them a form or template. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the Client page

  2. Go into the Client Record

  3. Select the Create Note button on the upper right corner

  4. Click the template icons on the bottom left of the note modal.

  5. Select a template from your team or community collections

  6. Click the Share button in the upper right corner of the note modal

  7. Select the recipient from the drop-down

  8. Review and adjust note access (view or edit)

  9. Click the Send button


Sharing permissions

Editor

People can make changes, and share the file with others.

Viewer

People can view, but can’t change or share the file with others.

Responder

People can view and respond to questions in a form. This option shows if you have added a field to your custom form.
