What is a 1099?
Form 1099 is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax form that reports payments made or received outside of regular employment. They track income from independent work, rent, royalties, or other nonemployee compensation.
You will receive a 1099-K from Stripe only if your account meets the reporting threshold of $20,000 in gross payments and 200 transactions within a calendar year. Carepatron does not issue this form because Stripe handles the payment processing. If you qualify, you can access the form in your Stripe dashboard or reach out to Stripe support if you need help locating it.
