How do I refer friends to Carepatron?

You already know what good practice tools feel like. When you share Carepatron

with a colleague, you're saving them hours of admin a week, helping them run a

calmer practice, and making space for the work that actually matters — their clients.

And because that kind of word-of-mouth is how Carepatron grows, we'd like to thank

you for it. Every practitioner you refer who sticks with a paid plan earns you a gift

card. No cap on how many colleagues you can refer, no cap on what you can earn.


How does the referral program work?

  1. Grab your unique referral link. Click the gift icon in Carepatron — it's in the

    lower-left corner, also in the top-right, and in your profile dropdown.

  2. Share it. Email, text, social, or copy the link straight from the share menu. The

    link is the only way we can track your referral, so make sure your colleague signs

    up through it.

  3. They sign up and activate a paid plan. Free trials don't count toward the

    reward — the clock starts when they begin paying.

  4. They stay on a paid plan for 3 months. Once they hit the three-month mark,

    your reward is confirmed.

  5. We send you the gift card. Delivered by email within a few days of completion.

Heads up: The referral link must be used at sign-up. We can't apply referrals

retroactively.

Reward amount:

Your reward depends on your region and your colleague's plan. You'll see the exact amount on your referral dashboard before you share. Some regions aren't supported.


Who can refer

You can refer colleagues if you:

  • Are on an active paid Carepatron subscription (both when you refer and when

    the reward is issued)

  • Are in a region where the program is live

Who counts as a referral

The colleague you refer needs to:

  1. Be new to Carepatron (no existing account)

  2. Sign up through your unique referral link

  3. Stay on a paid plan for 3 consecutive months


Tracking your referrals

The referral page shows you everything in one place:

  • Invitations you've sent

  • Colleagues who've signed up

  • Colleagues now on paid plans

  • Rewards earned and on their way

Important: The referral link is the only way we can track your referrals and credits. If a colleague you referred needs their referral code reshared, you can resend the link by clicking the Re-send invite button next to their email.


Referral statuses

As your referral progresses, it will move through the following statuses:

Invited

You've sent the link, but they haven't signed up yet

Signed up

They've created an account via the referral link

Active

They are on a paid subscription; the 3-month clock begins

Completed

They've hit the 3-month mark, reward confirmed

Claimed

Your gift card has been sent

Expired

A 6-month window passed without the 3-month condition being met


When referrals expire

Activated referrals expire 6 months after your colleague signs up if they haven't

completed the 3-month paid retention by then. Once a referral expires, it can't be

reactivated.


Terms

  • Recipients are responsible for any taxes that apply to gift card rewards in their

    region.

  • We may update or end the program at any time. In-flight referrals will be

    honored under the terms that were in place when they were made.

  • Rewards may be withheld where activity appears inauthentic.

  • Gift cards are delivered by email after the 3-month retention milestone.

If a referral didn't track, or a colleague signed up but isn't showing in your dashboard, message us from the chat bubble inside Carepatron, and we'll sort it out.
