Archiving Clients

The Carepatron workspace gives you the chance of archiving client profiles, this means you can save the information in your archive but avoid it from appearing in any dropdown menu where you select clients, or when searching for clients in the workspace, or even when creating a new invoice. This helps save information for clients that might have not come back for a visit in a while, but whose information you still want to hold on to, without it being a bother in your day to day, in case they come back in the future. In this article, you'll find the steps to follow to achieve this.



Archiving Client Records

To archive client records, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Clients

  2. Select the client(s) you want to archive by clicking and marking the box next to their name

  3. Click Archive from the options in the bottom right corner of the page, then click Yes, archive to confirm the action

  4. Notice the client profile has been grayed out, letting you know they have been archived


Unarchive Client Records

If you have archived a client's profile and now need to access the information, you can archive their profile following these steps:

  1. Go to Clients

  2. Hover over the archived client(s) profile in the Client list and direct your attention to the options that appear to the far right of your screen

  3. Select Unarchive and notice the profile will be colored again and available for you to access
