Your team's credentials finally have a home right on their profile!
A new licenses and certifications panel is now on every team member's profile page. Practice admins can add, view, and remove credential records for any staff member — no ePrescribe enrollment required, no setup needed. It's already live for your workspace.
A dedicated panel on every team member's profile
Previously, license information was only captured during the DoseSpot ePrescribe onboarding flow, meaning staff who hadn't enrolled had no credential records at all.
The new panel changes that. It lives on the Personal details tab of every team member profile, and works independently of ePrescribe.
Adding a license or certification
When no credentials have been recorded yet, the panel shows an empty state with a prompt to get started.
To add:
Go to Settings → Team members and open the relevant team member's profile.
Switch to the Personal details tab and scroll to the Licenses and certifications panel.
Click Add license or certification to open the entry modal.
Fill in the License number, Type, Issuing authority, and Expiry, then click Add.
The new record appears immediately in the table. Repeat for additional credentials; each is stored as a separate row.
Removing a credential
To remove or edit a credential:
Hover over the expiry date.
Select the delete action on any row.
A confirmation step appears before the record is removed, so nothing is lost accidentally.
Safe by default: Carepatron asks you to confirm before deleting any credential record. There's no bulk delete, as each removal is deliberate.
Two independent stores; neither affects the other
Credential records added here are stored in Carepatron only. They are not pushed to or synced with DoseSpot.
If a clinician is also enrolled in ePrescribe, their DoseSpot credentials remain completely separate.
What this means for your practice
Nothing has changed for existing profiles. All team member profiles continue to work exactly as before. The new panel is simply added to the Personal details tab. No data has been moved, removed, or altered.
