How do i enable my clients to book online?

The online appointment booking feature is integrated with your availability calendar, allowing you to set specific times when clients can request appointments.

In this guide, we'll cover the following:



Designate which services can be booked online

It's important to specify which services you would like new or existing clients to be able to book online. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the Settings page

  2. Select Services tab

  3. Scroll to the Service details section, and click Edit in the upper-right corner

  4. Assign staff that can be booked and then click Save

  5. Scroll down to the Online bookings section and click Edit

  6. Select the Bookable online slider

  7. Add Locations of services

  8. Click Save in the bottom right corner


Scheduling time between appointments

You can automatically schedule breaks between sessions or add extra time for paperwork or billing between clients. For example, if you have a 45-minute appointment and would like 15 minutes after to prepare for your next session, you can include this buffer time in the online schedule:

  1. Navigate to the Settings page

  2. Select Services tab

  3. Scroll down to the Online bookings section and click Edit in the upper-right corner

  4. Select the Buffer Time before and/or after dropdown

  5. Click Save in the bottom right corner


Set availability

For many practitioners, setting your Availability means confirming your practice hours. For others, it might mean allocating a few specific blocks during which clients can request appointments online. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the Settings page

  2. Select the Availability tab

  3. Click Edit in the upper-right corner

  4. Add times and locations

  5. Click Save in the bottom right corner
    Note: Clients will only be able to see your open slots


Share your booking link

Once you have completed the online booking setup, you can share your booking link with clients and add it to your website or online profiles. To do this:

For your personal booking link

  1. Navigate to the Calendar page

  2. Select the Booking Link in the upper-right corner

  3. Click the URL to copy

For a team member

  1. Navigate to the Team page

  2. Select the team member's profile

  3. Click the Booking link in the upper-right corner

  4. Select the URL to copy

For a service

  1. Navigate to the Settings page

  2. Select the Services tab

  3. Select the service

  4. Click the Booking link in the upper-right corner

  5. Select the URL to copy


Set booking & cancellation policies

Cancellations often lead to difficult conversations with clients regarding whether they are responsible for an appointment fee or if the canceled appointment will be written off as a financial loss for your practice. Communicating a defined cancellation policy to your clients is a great way to set expectations.

To set up your cancellation policy:

  1. Navigate to the Settings page

  2. Select the Online booking tab

  3. Click Edit in the upper-right corner of the Booking & cancellation policies section

  4. Add your cancelation and booking policy

  5. Click Save in the bottom right corner


Payment settings

Collecting payment at the time of booking is an effective way to reduce the back and forth in the billing and payment process while reducing no-shows. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the Settings page

  2. Select the Online booking tab

  3. Click Edit in the upper-right corner of the Payment settings section

  4. Select the Payment settings slider options

  5. Click Save in the bottom right corner


Customize booking page appearance

Customize the appearance of your booking page to add that personal touch.

  1. Navigate to the Settings page

  2. Select the Online booking tab

  3. Click Edit in the bottom-right corner of the Customize appearance section

  4. Choose color or Show collections

  5. Click Save in the bottom right corner


Setting booking policies

Set when online bookings can be made by clients. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the Online booking page

  2. Click edit by the Booking & cancellation policies section

  3. Set when online bookings can be made by clients

  4. Click Save in the bottom right corner
