Carepatron is built with security and privacy in mind. We use multiple layers of protection across our product and infrastructure to help keep your data safe, private, and available.
In this article, we will cover:
Data protection overview
Carepatron uses a defense-in-depth approach to security. That means we do not rely on a single control to protect your data.
We combine multiple safeguards across our application, systems, and infrastructure. If one layer is compromised, other layers are designed to continue protecting your information.
Encryption
Your data is protected with encryption both when it is stored and when it is being transmitted.
Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256
Data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher
Encryption helps prevent unauthorized access by ensuring that data cannot be read without proper authorization, even if it were intercepted.
Access controls
Access to customer data is tightly restricted.
We use role-based access controls (RBACs), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and least-privilege principles to limit who can access systems and what they can do. This means people have access only to the information required to perform their roles, reducing the risk of accidental or unauthorized access.
Audit logging
Carepatron maintains logs of user activity and system access. These logs allow us to monitor for suspicious behavior, investigate issues, and maintain accountability across our systems. Monitoring helps us quickly detect and respond to potential security concerns.
Infrastructure security
Carepatron runs on a secure cloud infrastructure designed to meet high security standards, ensuring our systems are hosted, configured, and maintained. This helps protect your data from external threats while ensuring reliability and availability.
