Setting up appointment reminders

How do I set up or customize appointment reminders?

You can send clients SMS/text and email reminders for upcoming appointments. You can also send a booking confirmation right after scheduling or rescheduling an appointment.

In this guide, we'll cover the following:


Setting up reminders

Remind clients of upcoming appointments. To set this up:

  1. Navigate to Workflows.

  2. Click the Basic reminders tab.

  3. Under Appointment reminders, click +New reminder.

  4. Select the Delivery method (email or SMS) from the drop-down. The delivery time is fixed to before appointment.

  5. Specify the interval time in hours.

  6. Edit the content, theme (for email only), and language as needed.

  7. Click Preview to see how it appears when sent via email or SMS.

  8. Select Save.


Change reminders

Here are the steps to customize your appointment reminders:

  1. Navigate to Workflows.

  2. Click the Basic reminders tab.

  3. Under Appointment reminders, select a reminder.

  4. Click the Edit icon.

  5. Select the Delivery method (email or SMS) from the drop-down. The delivery time is fixed to before appointment.

  6. Specify the interval time in hours.

  7. Edit the content, theme (for email only), and language as needed.

  8. Click Preview to see how it appears when sent via email or SMS.

  9. Select Save.


FAQs

  1. Why are my clients not receiving appointment reminders?

    Make sure you have set your appointment reminders under the Workflows page. Additionally, check each client's preferred notification method and ensure SMS and Email are enabled. Email and SMS reminders are only available on paid plans.

  2. Do SMS reminders display the appointment link?

    Only email reminders will include the appointment link.

  3. Is there a way to track if appointment reminders have been sent?

    No, there isn’t currently a way to track whether appointment reminders have been sent. The system automatically sends them based on your reminder settings, but it does not create a visible log or status indicator for you to check on your end.
