How do I add office or virtual locations? How to add phone call location?

Adding office or virtual locations helps you organize where your appointments take place and keeps your scheduling accurate. You can set up physical addresses or online meeting locations so clients always know exactly where their sessions will be held.


Basic steps to add or update office locations (virtual and phone call locations)

  1. Navigate to the Scheduling page.

  2. Navigate to Locations.

  3. Select either + New Location.

  4. Add location type and display name.

  5. Click Save.


Adding Carepatron Telehealth Location

  1. Navigate to the Scheduling page.

  2. Navigate to the Location.

  3. Select either + New Location.

  4. Add location type and display name.

  5. Click Save.

Note: You can leave the Link field blank when creating a Telehealth Video Call location.


Adding virtual Locations for other platforms


Adding a Google Meet Virtual Location

1. Create a Google Meet Link

  • Select New meeting.

  • Choose Create a meeting for later.

  • Copy the generated link to your clipboard.

2. Add Google Meet as a Location in Carepatron

  • Click on Add a new location.

  • In the location type, select Google Meet.

  • Enter a Display Name that your clients will recognize (e.g., "Online Consultation").

  • In the Link field, paste the Google Meet link you copied earlier.

  • Click Save to store your new Google Meet location.

You're all set! Now, when you schedule appointments, you can easily select Google Meet as the location, making it simple to conduct virtual meetings with your clients.


Adding a Zoom Location

1. Copy Personal Room Link

  • Open Zoom and sign in to your account. Create a new profile if needed.

  • Once you are in your profile, go to "Meetings" on the left sidebar.

  • Go to "Personal Room" and copy the "Invite Link" found there.

2. Add Zoom as a location in Carepatron

  • Click on Add a new location.

  • In the location type, select Zoom.

  • Enter a Display Name that your clients will recognize (e.g., "Online Consultation").

  • In the Link field, paste the Invitee link you copied earlier.


Adding a Doxy.me Location

1. Copy Room Link

  • Go to Doxy.me and sign in. Create a new profile if needed.

  • Copy your room link.

2. Add Doxy.me as a location in Carepatron

  • Click on Add a new location.

  • In the Location type field, select Doxy.me.

  • Enter a Display Name that your clients will recognize (e.g., "Online Consultation").

  • In the Link field, paste the room link you copied earlier.


Adding a Microsoft Teams Location

1. Copy Meeting Link

  • Go to Microsoft Teams and sign in. Create a new account if necessary

  • Go to "Chat" on the left-hand side options

  • Select "Meet now," then "Get link to share." This will automatically copy a meeting link to your clipboard

2. Adding Microsoft Teams as a location in Carepatron

  • Click on Add a new location.

  • In the location type, select Microsoft Teams.

  • Enter a Display Name that your clients will recognize (e.g., "Online Consultation").

  • In the Link field, paste the meeting link you copied earlier.
