Run secure video appointments with clients directly from your Carepatron workspace. This guide covers how to set up your telehealth location, schedule a session, and use the video call features.
This article covers the built-in Carepatron telehealth tool. To use Google Meet or Microsoft Teams instead, see add office or virtual locations.

Carepatron telehealth location
If the Carepatron virtual location does not appear in your workspace automatically, add it manually.
Go to Settings > Scheduling > Locations.
Look for Carepatron videoconferencing.
Hover and click the pen icon to Edit.
Enter an address (optional)
Click Save.
Schedule a telehealth appointment
To book an appointment:
Go to Calendar.
Select + New and click Book appointment.
Fill out the information as needed.
Under Location, choose Carepatron: Video conferencing.
Click Create when done.
Start and manage a video call
Your Carepatron Virtual Location is set up, and you have scheduled a Telehealth Virtual Call with one of your clients.
Now, it's time to learn how to start the call and what the Telehealth feature offers.
Go to the scheduled Appointment and select Start Video Call.
Click Join now to begin the call.
Once on the call, you can monitor attendees and send messages through the call's chat.
You can minimize the call window by clicking on the Minimize option. You can also use Share your screen to show clients any document or information. These and all other call actions can be found at the bottom of the screen.
Note: Screen sharing is not supported on iPad and iPhone.After wrapping up, click End Call to close the Telehealth Video Call.
As a host, you can:
Modify the microphone, camera, and general settings, as well as the available virtual background effects.
The meeting link can be copied and shared with as many people as necessary.
Mute/Unmute:
Hover over an attendee's video tile to mute/unmute them.
Use the Attendees panel to access the mute/unmute option.
Remove an attendee:
Hover over their video tile or use the Attendees panel to select Remove from call.
