Here are some frequently asked questions about our Telehealth capability.


Are video sessions recorded and/or stored?

We do not record or store any video sessions. We designed our Telehealth solution to align with how healthcare professionals work today, not change it. Therefore, since most users don't record in-person sessions, there is no need to record video sessions.


Is there a limit to Carepatron's Telehealth capability?

There's no need to worry about your session timing out or reading your monthly Telehealth appointment limit. Telehealth by Carepatron is genuinely unlimited for free.

We offer a more powerful Telehealth service by fully integrating it into a secure healthcare suite that includes payments, notes, appointment reminders, and client communication much more straightforward than maintaining an external, third-party Telehealth program.


How much does Telehealth cost?

There is no additional cost for Telehealth 👊


Is there a whiteboard or virtual board capability?

We do not currently offer a whiteboard tool in our Telehealth feature. However, our team is actively adding more capability to this feature, so watch this space. 🙌


Do clients need to install or download anything?

Your clients will be able to quickly & effortlessly join the session by simply clicking a link you provide.

They will not have to:

  • download or install software or extensions

  • enter an ID to access the session

We also offer a mobile app that clients can download if they prefer to use a mobile device rather than a laptop or desktop for their session.


Can clients join on their mobile devices? Is there a mobile app they can get?

Yes! Carepatron can be used on any mobile device either via the browser or by downloading as an app.
