We are aware note-taking and summarizing can be one of the biggest time consumers in your day-to-day tasks. Our AI Transcription tool is here to help, you will find the information needed to use this tool and make the best out of your session notes in this article.
AI Transcription
Having the possibility of transcribing the audio of any session or conversation with a client is only the beginning. Our AI Transcription helps you not only transcribe the audio, but also take the information shared in that transcript and use it to fill out forms and notes easily. Using our AI, you can choose where and how to organize the information within a note, or even how the information is received by our AI and presented to you in the transcript. Here are some steps on how to get started using our AI Transcription tool for note creation.
Go to Clients > Select a client > New note. Select the option to view the note in Full screen. Then choose Transcription (or Dictation in case you would to record something outside a client session) and select the audio input option you would like to use and click Start Transcribing.
Once the recording has started, direct your attention to the options available. You can change the audio input, see the time that has transpired since the beginning of the recording, pause the recording, and finally end the recording when the session has been completed. Make sure to click Yes, end when asked it you are sure you want to finish recording. Once the transcript is completed, you will be able to see the exact words spoken throughout the session with a time stamp for each statement.
Note Creation
After the Transcription has been captured, you can now transfer the information to a Note. Go to Generate note and select the AI Template you wish to use. The information will be transferred to the selected template, making sure to fill out the required fields with the information provided in the transcript. Feel free to go back and adjust the AI Scribe settings at any point to ensure the information is presented as you need it within your note. Remember, these settings will control how the information is interpreted and, in turn, transferred to the template's fields. You can generate and adjust the AI Prompts found within your Template to ensure the information is shown properly.
These templates will show the information as requested in the AI Prompts found within it. You can learn more about AI Prompts here.
AI Scribe Settings

Please keep in mind, these settings can be changed at any moment, if you wish to skip this step initially, you can do so by clicking Do it later.
