Introduction
Carepatron AI simplifies the process of recording and transcribing video calls, enabling you to focus on your conversations without worrying about taking notes.
Here's a quick guide on how to use this feature effectively.
Using Carepatron AI through Carepatron's Telehealth
Whenever an appointment takes place through our telehealth tool, the conversation will be automatically recorded, and transcribed.
On the right-hand side of your call, you will find your AI sidebar, with settings to manage what the AI scribe will produce. Learn more about the settings here.
Once the call is over, a note will be automatically created in your client's record, attached to the appointment. In that note, you'll find the transcript for the conversation and any templates if they were applied previously.
Using Carepatron AI Scribe with other video call platforms or a live conversation
If you're not using Carepatron's telehealth but do take notes in your clients' records inside Carepatron, you can always:
Go to the client's record > Click "New note" > Open the note taker wide > Start transcribing.
Once you're finished, stop the transcription and the conversation transcript will show up on the scribe.
You can also use Carepatron's AI Scribe for notes by dictating instead of transcribing. To learn more about how to apply it in notes, read this article.
AI Scribe Settings
Note: You don't need to adjust the settings at the beginning of the call, or even at all. However, selecting settings (even after the transcription was completed) will ensure the results are better.
Default note template: select one of our pre-made templates to enhance the AI Scribe experience. Once the transcription is over, Carepatron AI will magically transform it into whichever template you had chosen. If you are unsure, you can always re-try and exchange templates after seeing the results.
Generated output language: Our transcription tool will detect every language there is! In this section, you only need to select the language that you want the results to be in.
Refer to Client: Select how you'd like the transcription to name your client.
Refer to Practitioners: Select how you'd like the transcription to name any practitioners in the call.
Writing perspective: Choose whether you want the transcription to be shown in 1st person, 3rd person or in clinical format.
Verbosity: Adapt the transcription to better suit your needs by deciding whether you want it to be concise, standard, detailed, or super detailed.
Deleting a transcript
If you need to delete the transcript, simply go to the note > select settings > delete
