Our new In-App Chat (Staff + Staff) feature enables seamless internal communication between team members directly within your Carepatron Inbox. Whether you're coordinating on a task, sharing a quick update, or collaborating across departments, this feature helps keep your workflow fluid and secure—without ever leaving the platform.
⚠️ Note: This release only supports staff-to-staff messaging. Staff-to-client chat will be introduced in a future update.
How to access to this feature:
Before accessing this feature, it is important to make sure you have your Inbox set up.
Go to your Inbox.
Click the arrow next to the Compose button.
Select Messenger.
Choose the colleague you’d like to message.
Type your message and click Send.
Your colleague will receive the message in their Inbox as well.
View Recent Messages:
Go to your Inbox.
You'll see all recent messages in the left column.
Message Actions
Edit: Correct typos or update messages after sending.
Delete: Remove messages when needed.
Reply: Threaded replies help maintain clarity in busy conversations.
Message Attachments
Share files directly within the chat to enhance collaboration.

Express tone and emotion easily with emoji reactions.
Create & Manage Group Chats
Start group conversations with multiple team members. Name your group chat, add/remove members.
You can manage your group chat settings on the fly as you need.
