How do I create templates?

Creating your own templates allows you to create resources that are compatible with your practice and its workflow.

In this guide, we will cover:


Creating a Template/ Form

  1. Navigate to the templates page

  2. Choose which collection you would like the template to be saved under

  3. Give the template a title

  4. Click on the '+' icon in the toolbar

  5. Choose the field types (fillable section) you would like to include in your template.

  6. Click 'save template' in the bottom right corner


Create a template/ form using data chips

Customize your templates and forms with data chips! Data chips use your clients' profiles to pre-fill the information for you and your client.

Here are the steps to use data chips:

  1. After copying a template into the team template library, navigate to the toolbar in the notes modal

  2. Select the data chip icon (pill-shaped) next to the field's icon

  3. Add the data chip with the information you would like pre-filled.

  4. Save or send the template as usual.


Editing a Team Template/ Form

  1. Navigate to the templates page

  2. Select the overflow icon on the template you would like to edit

  3. Press edit

  4. Create the edits you want and then press save

Note: You can use our quick insert shortcut to easily add lists, images, headings, form fields, and even AI smart prompts. Simply type / and a menu with options to choose from will pop up.


Editing a Community Template/ Form

  1. Navigate to the templates page

  2. Select the overflow icon on a community template you would like to edit

  3. Select 'copy to Team templates'

  4. Go to your Team Templates Library and click the overflow icon

  5. Press edit

  6. Create the edits you want and then press save


Sharing a Template/ Form with the Community

  1. After creating a template, in the team templates library, press the overflow icon

  2. Press 'publish to community'

  3. Fill out category, profession and any necessary tags


Duplicating a note/ form/ template

  1. Navigate to the note/ form/ template you would like to duplicate

  2. Hover over the tool bar and select the duplicate icon

  3. In the bottom left corner, a pop-up will appear asking if you would like to view the duplicate. If you wish to view the duplicate in the note modal, select view
