What are fields? How do I use client record fields?

When customizing client records, you can add fillable slots with fields.

In this guide, we will learn how to use each field.

  • Text

  • Paragraph

  • Email

  • Phone

Adding a field to a section

Here's how to do it:

  1. Navigate to Clients.

  2. Navigate to the personal information tab.

  3. Select ‘New field’ in the top right corner of the section you would like to edit

  4. Select which field you would like.

  5. After selecting a field, name the relevant field, and the section will automatically populate.

  6. Click 'Save field', the field should now show on the section you added it to.


Text field

When you create a text field, this allows you to create a field that gives you the freedom to write a response freely through text.

Paragraph field

When you create a paragraph field, this allows you to give a detailed response to your client's information.

Email field

When you select the email field, you can create a field that allows you to enter an email address. It is used for communication, login, or verification purposes.

Phone field

When you select the phone field, you can create a field that allows you to encode a phone number.

Location field

When you select the location field, you can provide details on the current address or area. It helps identify a place or a location.

Date field

When you create a date field, this allows you to give a date response for the relevant information in the client's record.

Date range field

When you create a date range field, this allows you to create one that you can respond to with a date range (e.g., 10/11/23 - 12/11/23)

Single choice dropdown

When you create a single-choice dropdown, you create a field in which you can choose a single response to a range of options that you have created

Multiple choice dropdown

When you create a multiple-choice dropdown, you create a field in which you can choose multiple responses to a range of options that you have created.

Yes | No

When you create a Yes | No, you create a field in which you can respond with either 'Yes or No'.
